With regards to the Jets, how is it that after last week, a loss, the prevailing thought among just about everyone from the media and fans was that the Jets were done, and could no longer win enough games to make the playoffs.
A week later, after beating a terrible Panthers team, who I think everyone would have expected them to beat anyway, what exactly changed? All week the storyline has turned into ‘the Jets can run the table’, and ‘we still have hope’ and all that.
Wasnt that hope there last week as well? The same schedule still lies ahead doesn’t it? Did a 17-6 win really inspire that much hope?
