Clearly Bautista was angered by the inside pitches last night. But did that make him more likely to hit two home runs? I don’t know. Seems to me like he kind of just hits a lot of home runs.
And that, actually, is way weirder than being angered into hitting home runs. Jose Bautista. Who saw that one coming?

Not to mention the fact that the first home run came before the inside pitch in question. Unless the DN is suggesting that Bautista has some sort of Psychic powers and knew that he would in fact be picthed inside later in the game, thus angering him enough to want to hit the first home run.
Baustista could be even cooler than we think.
Granted, absolutely no one saw this coming, but it’s kind of funny that Bautista was at one point a Met (before he was shipped out to Pittsburgh in the Kris Benson trade). I’m already looking forward to the Mets re-signing him in 4 years when he’s in the decline phase of his career (cough, Jason Bay, cough).
picked him up early in both my fantasy leagues, not in the draft of course, but a few weeks into the season. He’s been a stud!
