I can’t remember who said it but on ESPN on their NFL Countdown Show, they had their panel giving predictions on the games and some joker said “I pick the Patriots to win this game. Tom Brady said he hates the Jets, and I think it will translate into points”.
Really? that’s the analysis you’re providing. Atleast pretend to say something with insight. Make up a new statistic, or mis-use a statistic that proves your point, that’d be less offensive.
Yeah analysis to ESPN is “the Jets talk too much.” No one picked the Jets in this game, no one on that site picked the Jets to win the SuperBowl. They all cited excessive coverage and overhype/exposure. Most of which was by ESPN itself. But really when you think about it the Jets were so overexposed that no one will pick them, and now they have essentially become underdogs because when no one picks you how can you not be? It’s reverse overexposure.
