Just read the live blog, sold work Ted. One thing I took from that, and from comments made by Ricchardi is how they were influenced by Alderson.
Most agreed he was the best guy for the job and I thought so too. But I also liked the idea of guys Hahn and Byrnes as well.
But after seeing Alderson hire Ricchardi and Depodesta, and based on thier comments of why they came here (Alderson basically) its clear Sandy was the right choice.
While they may be talented, there was not way Hahn or Byrnes was going to be able to assmble this all start team of a front office like Alderson has.
