Josh passes along this Sporcle name-that-sandwich quiz. I got 23 of 25, but I can’t tell you which two I missed because then you’ll know them and I don’t want you to beat me.

I got 19 of the 25. I would actually say 20 to be fair because I knew the Reuben Sandwich, I just was spelling it wrong.
I missed the Caprese, which I legitimately did not know, and the ham and egg, which I couldn’t really figure out from the picture because it’s a) on a bagel and b) I thought it was going to be something more specific so I kept typing in things like “Croque Madame.”
Sigh, a poor showing. 15 of 25, and worse, I only knew the name of two of the ten I missed.
Anyway, I did have the awesome Hot Roast Beef from Defonte’s for lunch today, and will try the Pork Schnitzel on Wednesday.
So you’re still the winner in the end.
I’m also gonna get the Sloppy Bao next Monday.
Mmmmmm, that Defonte’s sandwich is incredible. I wish they were a little more convenient for me, the Manhattan location is too far from my office for it to be a reasonable lunchtime trip, and the Red Hook location (which is closer to my apartment) closes midafternoon so I can’t go after work.
i take umbrage with their classification of a sloppy joe and gobbler. the sandwiches pictured looked like ass compared to masterpieces found at the Millburn Deli.
16/25 (I am counting the 2 I knew and could not spell)
I bow before your sandwich supremacy.
That Ham and Egg is BS. This is a Ham and Egg sandwhich: http://theeatenpath.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/peter_pan_bakery_ham_and_egg_sandwich.jpg
