  1. Reeling? I think thats an understatement for this guy at this point. I mean yes it was a terrible loss, and one of the more brutal I can remember, but to call it the “low point of his being a Giants fan” is a bit much IMO, considering the team is still 9-5 and in a good position to make the playoffs and have a 10-11 win season. I mean where was this guy when the G-Men blew a 24 late Q3 lead to the 49ers in the playoffs back in 2002? Or the even more recently losing to the Eagles at hom 2 years ago in the playoffs, handily, when the Giants were the number one seed?

On its own, this game was terrible, but to say you are not at your current low point as a Giants fan, when the team still is in prime position to make the playoffs, is pretty ridiculous. Similar to how badly the Jets fans took the Pats and Dolpins losses the last 2 weeks.

And the second guessing of coaches here too is a bit off base. Hes complaining about the Giants contuing to blitz, while I’ve seen 2 write ups in major papers blaming the fact that the giants played prevent D as the cause? Well which is it? Reality is they got burned doing both. When they sat back and rushed 4, Vick completed soe key passes, when they blitzed, it worked but Vick made some great plays and burned them. There really was no answer.

Same goes for the offense. When teams get conservative and run, run, run, people complain they arent “putting thier foot on the throat”. Well the Giants tried to do that and that too burned them. So now people will say they should have run the ball (which BTW was not working all game). Terrible loss and plenty of blame to go around, but to pinpoint any one thing is just not right.
