Omar Minaya from last night’s Hot Stove

I’m getting vague word that someone on WFAN has criticized SNY.tv for not carrying the full Omar Minaya interview from last night’s Mets Hot Stove, apparently suggesting that we’re somehow protecting Minaya.

Because, you know, that’s exactly what we do here at SNY.tv.

Anyway, I’m not sure if that’s actually true because I haven’t been listening, but if it is, the person in question obviously isn’t privy to the details of this network’s cable affiliate agreements. But whatever. Here’s what we do have from last night’s show:

  1. Ted, I’ve seen Omar lie before and when he does he stutters and starts talking about things totally different then what the subject is. As much as I love ripping on Omar, management and your boy, Cerrone, I have to say I believe the questions Burkhardt (I enjoy the stuff he does as well as yours) had some pre made questions that he probably had to ask.

It’s unfortunate too, because Burkhardt usually asks some really good questions, and it’s also sad that you guys at SNY have to bend over and take it when a tool like Omar comes through. Corporate Americal Sucks.

  2. Ted, with the comments I made recently. I figured it out. You could be the next GM, Burkhardt could be the new Manager along with the guidance and knowledge of Bobby V as co manager.

Gary Cohen is destined to be the next Ralph Kinnear with out the hall of fame playing, Ron could be the new co pitching coach and Keith could be one special instructors for Murphy and Ike Davis, which I’m sure he is already doing. Strawberry could come on as one of the hitting coaches along with Hojo.

  3. The above comment about Gary Cohen is a good thing, he calls such a great game, that a game wouldn’t be the same without his voice. If you don’t want to take my word for it, try sitting through a marlins, nationals, or philies game.
