Criticism of Stephon Marbury’s debut in China: He was too unselfish.

“If bees did that, I’d fall off my chair.”

Jose Reyes is running healthy, to the sweet sounds of cheesy stock-music metal. He’s also striking a tractor tire with a sledgehammer, which is massively important.

The snowman lady from the Daily News last week is back, but for some reason the online story doesn’t include the same picture as the print edition. Luckily, my phone has a camera. This one gives an explanation, though: It’s “her lucky snowman.” Note that this is not even the same car — she’s taken her snowman to the new car she got as a result of the original Daily News piece. Actually, now I kind of feel bad making fun of her. Well, whatever. Here it is:

  1. It amazing still how people over react to issues like this. Because of one problem, that MAY occur, in very rare cases in high mileage vehicles, shes switched from a Toyota, a car company known for safey and quality, to a Ford, who reputation for quality could be one of the worst in the industry.

      • Well that fact that this lady 1) is a complete wack job, and 2 ) somehow got herself into the Daily Daily News goes without saying.

      • What’s amazing is that the snowman is buckled in, man. Look at that thing. I mean how old and lonely do you have to be to permanently buckle in your favorite plush toy. Then again, noone said it’s her favorite…….i wonder which one she sleeps with…….

        **shudder**

        upon further reflection **BIGSHUDDER***

  2. Ted, this just in Omar Minaya has signed the Ground hog that seen his shawdow today. It gives Omar more time to make another crappy deal like Matthews for stokes or Cliff Lee and Brandon Phillips for Bartolo Colon and Tim Drew.

I’m pretty sure I will never let omar live that down. The Kazimir trade panned out and they practically stole Santana from Minnesota.

    • Its easy to bash Omar for that trade in MTL in hindsight but at the time, the Expos had no future to build for, and Omar made a trade of 3 unknown prospects, for a cheap 28 year old all star stud pitcher. At the time, most seemed to think this was a good deal for the Expos.

If the Mets had a chance to get an all star ace type pitcher right now for 3 prospects, most fans would say do it, no matter who the prospects are, but those same people will bash Omar for doing what he did in 2002.
