Videos two

First, talking Jets with Brian Bassett. In person, this time:

Second, making up a game show as we go along, challenging Mets fans to play GM. This was fun to tape, even if it was extremely loud in McFadden’s.

I taped the comment about Omar being not so bad compared to some Mets fans before I saw which footage our video guys chose for this show. Not pictured: The several people who said “trade David Wright” or “trade Jose Reyes,” just on principle, for the sake of trading them.

The two fellows in this screengrab are heroes, for what it’s worth:

  1. How come the smart one isn’t the guy broadcasted as the voice of the fans? Ted, you should be the one getting air-time on SNY put matt in the bar with these morons. I don’t know how you didn’t blow a gasket with every guy except the one who proposed sending Mejia down.

Come to think of it, the reason Matt is the voice of “the fans” is pretty obvious… he can identify with these guys.

  2. Ted, Tell your camera guys or producers that I’m a little offended that they wanted to have you go hang out in McFadden’s that make Omar look brillant instead of hanging out with me. Wow, it was a good segment, but I just got a headache. WTF.

Hanging out with me, I could have name dropped to Frank Cantalano and by the end of the night we would be the new GM (you) and Assistant to the traveling secretary (me).

Get out of here Fmart for Roy Oswalt. For Fmart I want Oswalt and Arroyo. I would throw in Castillo for Phillips and Perez for a rosin bag. Throw Maine in the Bullpen get rid of this cuban guy and the guy they picked up off of Atlanta’s scrap heap. Bring back Parnell. Get rid of Matthews for some G2 Gatorade if you could get G2 Gatorade for him at this point or the last 3 years.

Well, Ted this was fun and a another reason I should be your sidekick, I’m unemployed anyway so it would work out. “I’m not invinceable but I’m a cheer leader”
