Dodgers breaking new ground in dysfunction

On the heels of talk that the Dodgers intentionally drafted a player who won’t sign with them comes a report that they paid for a Russian faith healer to treat their players via television, thousands of miles away. Check out Memories of Kevin Malone for more details and hilarious commentary, and remember that, no matter how frustrated you get with your team, it could always be worse. Unless you’re a Dodgers fan, apparently.

  1. Holy crap that is great stuff about the faith healer. I especially like Werth’s reaction after he was asked about it. I’d be ashamed too, buddy.

  2. I wouldn’t lump that drafting the kid who won’t play in dysfunction, that was actually pretty smart since next years draft is expected to be decidedly better. And I suppose by then maybe they’ll have an owner.

  3. Vladimir Shpunt and the draft decision are not equal. The decision to get another draft pick next season in a presumably better class makes some sense, Vladimir Shpunt is just bizarre.
