Francoeur got some serious applause for that play.
I, however, sat in silent protest. And I did boo Francoeur during introductions and after a couple of his awful at-bats. I’m not usually a big fan of booing, but I felt I had to counteract the irrational love he gets from the crowd.
Is it wrong that I kind of wish he HAD broken his wrist?
No, I will not feel sorry for a guy who’s getting paid 5 million dollars this year and ten million in his career. I’d break every bone in my body for half of that.

Wait, was he one of the kids in the outfield chasing after balls during the Home Run Derby? Because, if so, that’s way too much effort to expend on a foul ball. He should know that foul balls are outs in Home Run Derby.
