I dont regularly watch either but I caught wind of this episode and watched it online the other day. To a baseball fan it was great.
Personally my favorite line was “It’s a triumph of number-crunching over the human spirit — and it’s about time”.
In my house, we all laughed at the Lenny Dykstra line because I actually sued the guy. Unfortunately, he filed for bankruptcy before I had the opportunity to depose him. I had been looking forward to that.
In any event, it was one of the better episodes in years.
It was great. I loved that they brought back Scioscia–and recognized his radiation poisoning.
