In any case, the coach calling the play is a bit of a dick. It may be legal, but it’s poor sportsmanship to do it at the middle school level.
That second video is hilarious.
I don’t have any problem with trying out trick plays, even at the middle-school level. Defensive players need to learn at some point that once the ball moves, it’s live. Obviously that one kid in the second video got the memo.
