Thank you Ted. I HATED that movie, and everyone I talked to right after I saw it liked it. Glad I’m not the only one who thought it was awful.
I thought it was like laughably bad. All the stupid melodramatic reaction shots in the first 20 minutes, combined with some enormously cliched dialogue, were enough to overwhelm my general appreciation for Johnny Depp and gangster movies.
I didn’t HATE IT. I sat and watched the whole thing which isn’t something I do often. It was very slow but I didn’t think it was awful.
