That sucked

I don’t have much to say about last night’s Jets-Patriots bloodbath except that it sucked. It sucked to watch, it probably sucked to play, and it especially sucked that I sat there pathetically holding out hope that the Jets could pull off some miracle comeback, up until the point where their defense stopped bothering. The broadcast sucked, the coaching sucked, Tom Brady’s stupid hair sucked.

It all sucked, except possibly Santonio Holmes and my buffalo wings.

All I can offer to Jets fans is that it’s only one game. And as much as it feels like the wind has been knocked out of the team — nay, it feels like their ribs have been broken and have punctured their lungs — it ultimately counts for one game in the standings.

Yes, it makes their path to taking the division and a first-round bye more difficult, but hardly impossible. The fact that we’re even hoping for playoff byes and home-field advantage at this point in the season speaks to how far the Jets have come in the last couple years.

F@#$. Whatever. Whatever, whatever. Tom Brady wears man-UGGs.

Sad Mark Sanchez:

  1. Why so little running? Aside from realizing his early errors and almost solely throwing to Holmes, Sanchez (and Schotty) should’ve called for/been instructed to run more running plays.

And why do I have to watch that idiotic Spartan, Eric Smith, play?

  2. As a Jet fan you should want to see more of Brady’s hair, because if you can see his hair, it means hes on the sideline, not throwing touchdown passes.

And while Santonio Holmes played a good game, could we do without the antics and showboating down by 2 TDs? I saw a couple plays in a row where as the Jets overall were getting pounded, Holmes after a couple catches decided to jump an signal first down, then start waiving his hands at the crowd when they booed.

  3. What a great game.

My favorite part was, a few days before the game, Rex Ryan taking a potshot at the Lions defense and saying Detroit should trade them.. what was it, three first rounders for one of their corners? Because one of the Lions CBs (Alphonso Smith) got burned so badly?

At 17-0 I was feeling pretty good. 31-3, that was a good moment too.

So what’s the over-under on Rexy taking more shots at my Lions after the “NFL’s best defense” took a forty-five point dump?

    Let’s go Mets!
